What to Expect at a Presbyterian Church

Sunday morning at CrossPoint starts at 10:00 AM and runs an hour and fifteen to an hour and a half.

Come as you are, and we mean that. A few people wear jackets, though most don't. Park City is a jeans-and-boots kind of town, and our congregation looks the part.

Nobody's going to put you on the spot. We won't ask visitors to stand up and introduce themselves. If you'd rather slip in, find a seat near the back, and head out afterward without talking to a soul, that's a perfectly good first visit.

The service has a clear shape: we sing, we pray, we read from Scripture, and then a sermon of about thirty minutes working through a passage in its context. There's nothing you need to know in advance.

We celebrate the Lord's Supper every week, and you don't have to be a member here to receive it. Here's who we invite to the Table.

We're not going to ask you for money, either. Our members carry the cost of the ministry, so you're here purely as our guest.

Bring your children into the service. Nobody expects them to sit in silence, and we don't mind a little noise. We also have CPC Kids, for ages 2 to 6, meeting during the sermon.

We meet at the Weilenmann School of Discovery, 4199 Kilby Road, with parking on site. It's a school, and you're in the right place. Three A-frame signs mark the way: one at the road, one as you come down to the lot, and one at the door that says Enter Here. If you'd like to listen first, our sermons are online. And when you're ready to meet people, Family Dinner is usually the second Sunday of the month.
