Helping kids grow in their love for God and for Park City.

Each week, during the regular church service sermon, the children (ages 2-6) will be dismissed to learn the same Bible story as the adults, but through engaging activities, and explanations that are easier for children to understand.

The program is for children ages 2-6.

  • The goal of CPC Kids aligns with our overall mission at CPC: to help children grow in their love for God and their love for others.

  • During CPC Kids (ages 2-6), children engage with age-appropriate biblical teaching that helps them understand God's character and work. Our volunteers create an exciting classroom environment where children learn through Bible stories, simple memory work, singing and activities designed to support parents as primary disciplers.

  • CPC Catechism Club meets monthly to teach children the rich truths of the reformed faith through a question-and-answer format. Children memorize key doctrinal truths in an engaging way that makes theology accessible for all ages. We believe training children with the catechism provides a theological framework that will help them interpret Scripture and understand the gospel as they grow.

  • CPC doesn't have a traditional children's or youth ministry because we believe children and teenagers grow spiritually in the same way adults do—by participating in the ordinary means of grace such as regular Lord's Day worship, singing God's praises with His people, praying, and where appropriate, celebrating the sacraments. We believe this approach better prepares children and teens for life-long church involvement while encouraging parents to take primary responsibility for discipling their children.

Don’t Forget The Catechism Club!

The Catechism Club meets on the second Sunday of the month immediately following the worship service and before family dinner.
